Peanut Butta Blossoms #tbt

OMMMMMMMGG its throwback thursday!
(Lied its wednessday but im not gonna instagram this till thursday so thats when your gonna see it.)

So we all know that all the cool kids went to Camp David. Esthers sitting here disagreeing cuz she didnt get into camp David, so lets let her keep up that charade.

Baking in camp David was HASHEM. I dono about you but none of my food ever made it home.

Heres my tribute to my many many MANY years at Camp David: The most basic peanut butter blossoms out there (excluding ones made from Betty Crocker peanut butter cookie mix.)

What you need:

1/2 Cup shorteing (crisco)
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 and 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Extra sugar (like on a plate)
Hershey's kisses

What you gotta do:

1) Beat together the 1/2 cup shorting and 3/4 cup peanut butter. Guess what I finally got! A kitchen aid!! So i did it in that. Just mix it till its like blended.

2) Throw in 1/3 cup brown sugar (I used dark, lights okay too) and 1/3 cup regular sugar. Mix that together till its like yummy and fluffy.

3) Put in the egg, 2 tablespoons milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, (dont got a pic of that but u get it), and mix it some more.

4) Combine the cup and a half flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon salt, and mix it into the batter gradually- that means not all at once.

5) Mix it all and make a dough

6)  Heat the oven to 375, and spray a tray (haha that rhymes). Make 1 inch balls out of the dough, and roll them in sugar, lightly to coat the outside. Bake for 8-10 minutes, till there like starting to brown but are stil soft.

7)  While there baking unwrap the hersheys kisses

7) Take them out of the oven and immediately- IMMEDIATELY- press a hershys kiss into the center each one. the cokoies will like start to break apart but thats normal.

8) Let them cool and eat emmmmmm
